hi, i've done some consulting work using codeigniter, and the company i was working for was using php 4 with codeigniter 1.7.0.
i'd like to upgrade to php 5 but i wanted to see if that would change anything. i looked through the upgrade notes for codeigniter and i know php 5 support has been there for a while. what i'm more concerned about is whether my legacy code, written under codeigniter 1.7 with php 4, would still work as i remain on codeigniter 1.7.0 but bump up to php 5. any thoughts or places i haven't looked?
