Well Mike I agree with you as I have been looking around this issue. But the fact that once I comment the _remap function in my main controller eliminates the issue completely does not make me belive that it is nothing related to CI. Is there a way to make conditional routes like if $_SERVER["server_name"] is http://category.domain.com/ then route to category controller and and all URLs within the same subdomain are redirected to the same controller. Is this possible.
