I need help with .htaccess configuration for css/images inside the views folder

Thanks but I said that I didn't know much about the apache configuration so I could do with a little more help. I have seen the code snippet you posted all over the forum and it's for URI-rewriting. The script I already have which I posted in the original post allows for the rewriting and other assets as css and images. I think you've misunderstood the problem.

The thing is that the application folder's .htaccess has "deny from all" so the content I try to include gets blocked, not because of URI-rewriting. Can't I just write "Allow from all" in the "styles" folder in my theme folders?
