Another issue with the CI profiler

It seems to update when you reload or load a new page.

But what if you press a button which triggers some AJAX but no page reload or load occurs?

For instance, you press a button, and the Javascript popup displays the server response?

I can't seem to get the profiler to profile this type of event. Is there a way to get a profile of pure AJAX? Thanks!
