New to CodeIgniter : How to proceed?

I suggest going to nettuts and looking at the many tutorials that are on that site as it really helps out a lot of newer users of the framework. As far as IDE is concerned. I prefer to use phpDesigner 8. An IDE and a framework really don't have a lot in common. Unless you are looking for code complete or something like that.
