I'm with a big problem here. I'm integrating an interface I've done using Codeigniter with an external Mysql Database. The thing is that I'm getting "Cannot connect to MySQL 4.1+ using old authentication" error. Yes, I've looked over the internet and found steps to solve it once we have admin rights to the database. The thing is that I have a ready-only access.
Can I do something to connect to this database? Just to let you know, I'm not using a Linux Server, I'm using a Windows Server with IIS, and to be honest, I'm not very used to it.
These are the parameters I'm using to try to connect:
