I think you overestimate the work it takes to perform the upgrade. My largest project took about 4 hours.

I understand laziness can be considered a good quality of a programmer, but not in the way you explain it or tend to use the term. Because I am lazy I will spend lots of time to automate as much as possible in my work flow. Figuring out smart solutions not cut corners, thats what Larry Wall meant ;-)
