If you focus on previous releases, then 4.1.6 will be released in January/February. So 4.2 is spring or summer.
As I said above.

Active support ended. That is, no bug fixes. Yes, 7.4 does not disappear anywhere. But the same can be said about version 5.1.
The current version of the framework is compatible with 7.4 and 8.0. Maybe leave it as it is?

Using php-8 as the minimum version, the framework can catch up a bit with its competitors using not only compatibility, but also language features.
