Should I wait for version CI 4.5

Hello, I have been developing with CodeIgniter since version 3.x, and I am currently actively using version 4.1.5. 
Unfortunately, due to some breaking changes, I haven't been able to upgrade to the latest version. 
Therefore, I've decided to rewrite some parts of my application. Should I wait for version 4.5, or should I start with version 4.4.5 and then upgrade to 4.5? 
How can I find breaking changes notes? I checked "Upgrading From a Previous Version" page but no information about feature notes.
Additionally, I want to provide support at the code level. Where should I start?
