Upgrade CI 1.6.3 To 1.7 Problem

Hi CI Programmer..

I have a problem when I trying to upgrading my app. from CI 1.6.3 to 1.7

I have been modified the database driver based on :
http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/73714/
at 1st post by stathis.

The error message when my app. running is :

Code:

A Database Error Occurred

Unable to connect to your database server using the provided settings.

The error still appear after I following the post instruction.


When I downgrade the "system/database" directory from my backup directory, it's work again.
