Integrated Reporting Engine

I've been browsing the web for the last few days searching for an online reporting engine to integrate with software that I've written for a client of mine. I'm trying to avoid having to write one.

Most of what I have found is either terrible or client side software. The client is willing to spend a considerable amount of money on suitable solution. It would need to be very comprehensive, customizable and user friendly.

Has anyone come across anything like this? Thanks!
