Hi IamPrototype,
 
If you want to use the title in your URI then it is essential that you do not have duplicate titles otherwise the link will not point to a unique URI on your site. Instead it will find more than one, select one and the other/s will never ever be shown.
 
I have just Googled for MySQL duplicates and come across this script which lists all the jokes on my site with identical titles.

  FROM    jokes
  GROUP BY title
  HAVING  Count >1;
  LIMIT  0 , 30

 
My next task is to amend the titles so that I can use the unique title in the link and to eliminate the ID.
