escape_like_str Bug

Yes my english is in K-12 level. Your understanding of English is lower than my writing level and than you can't understand my writed English texts. This is understandable boy. (I learned you are not a boy; you are a old man. It is now understandable that why are you witless that much B| )

I want to use this function to escape ' like characters in client sended field names. If client try to inject my code, i want to escape them before use in my query. Do you want to see whole code of my query? Can you understand me after that?

I am neither a young boy, nor an old man and I've had enough of your insults already. And if you want to talk about being witless, how moronic are you if you can't grasp this:

The function is supposed to prepend underscore characters, because that's how they are escaped!

If you've got an explanation of exactly what's wrong with the produced result, be my guest, but 'foo_bar' being turned into 'foo!_bar' is not wrong by itself. Be a grown up for once, stop just throwing insults around and answer this in a straightforward way:

What do you expect the function to do?

And by straightforward, I mean show an example output, compare it to the current one and explain why your suggestion is better. Stop talking about jqgrid and stop giving me vague answers like 'I want to escape client data' - of course you want to escape client data, Captain Obvious. I don't need you to tell me that, it doesn't answer anything.
