zip lib on osX causes a bug

Hello,
I'm using the zip library on a lamp platform.
It works like a charm when the client is on pc. But when i try on osX, the native osX zip tool can't open the archive. I have to use stuffit or similar softwhare.
Is that a known problem whith this library ?
