Code igniter forums -require- javascript?

Not sure If i was on the right forum but seems to be relating to CI.

I was browsing on Safari with Javascript disabled the other day and notcied barely any button works with JS disabled. Took a look at the source code and noticed an odd trick to replace the buttons.

Adding simple links or "<noscript></noscript>" adding simple button/link aside it would be appreciated on behalf of users who browse with JS disabled or use browsers that cannot handle JS at all.
