1) I didn't need one I just wanted to make one, I know the other forum packages like IPB, VB, and phpBB but I wanted something that I made myself that worked the way I wanted and worked with my auth library.

2) The backend works great the auth lib that a friend and I made works fantastic and I can now easily integrate the forums and say my CMS software together using the same auth lib so everything works perfectly in sync.

Like I've said before though, I lost the DB and have to rebuild it when I have the time. Other than that I will release it one of these days along with my CMS software and my wiki software when I finish it.
