delete helpers and libraries i dont use?

if i want to make CI thinner, could i just delete all the helpers and some of the libraries?

eg.

HELPERS:

almost every helper

LIBRARIES:

ftp
email
pagination
xml-rpc
cart
html
calendar

would that make CI more slim? and i don´t need the things i mentioned so i see no reason leaving them there.
