Adding URL Suffix Problem

Hello everybody,
I add the URL Suffix to:
$config['url_suffix'] = '.html';

After i get 404 - Not Found

Somebody have an solution ?

redirect('main_controller'); -> http://localhost/main_controller.html -> 404 - Not Found
