Help - minimal steps to integrate Ion Auth with codeigniter

Hi Friends,
I am pretty much a newbie to PHP / CodeIgniter / Ion Auth. I have a good experience on Web dev (Java / j2ee based).

Can anyone please provide me minimal steps to integrate Ion Auth? I have installed Codeigniter on my server with a small tutorial (involving jquery and ajax). Now I would like to integrate Ion Auth. I am not able to follow the instructions on Ion Auth documentation. It would be good, if anybody can share a small sample and then I will be able to customize the same.
