404 file not found on all images

I have a seasoned application that I upgraded von ci 2 to 3.1 and started testing in test environment my a remote host.
No all my images are not displaying.
The same app works fine on my localhost.
I tried without .htaccess - same
I tried changing PHP versions between 5.3 and 5.6 - same

I am running out of ideas.

Test environment is www.sunnydays.me.

Where should I look next, what am I missing?
