idn_to_ascii(): INTL_IDNA_VARIANT_2003 is deprecated

HI, 
I've just joined the forum because I had to post this. Forgive me if it had been addressed before.
I was trying to validate email addresses using the form_validation library.
I deliberately entered an incorrect email format in the email field and got the result in the attached picture.

   

Am running on PHP 7.2.0 and CI 3.1.6
Oops! 
Just noticed there's a CI 3.1.7 while typing this message and wanting to confirm the current CI version. I will update and I guess the problem might have been fixed.
