Keeping eye on competing frameworks

I've been playing with Symfony 4 lately. Having worked a bit with Laravel, I really don't see much difference, but I'm not an expert with either framework. I'm not so enthusiastic about using Twig, but switching to the PHP templating makes me feel more at home. I might start a new project with Symfony 4 soon, just to say I did, I guess
