A general idea of how these 'contests' will work and the granularity of the access control are two that I would worry about. I can see how both of these can get tedious as their complexity increases. Then there's the notion of 'localization' that I don't quite understand from the above description.
Two months is not a huge amount of time for a complex project, particularly since this will be over the holidays (stuffing on the keyboard isn't a good thing). Make sure you plan well and focus on the core functionality, then you should be alright.
