[quote author="cmike" date="1208520449"] If You release this script, then after seeing the code maybe there will be suggestions and helpful hints ![]() Hmm i'm thinking I should do this before I completely push this project aside. Unfortunately i've become overwhelmed with other responsibilities, story of my life. OK i'm gonna try my absolute best to release the code this weekend. _Jameson_, what browser are you using? What do you mean by the image manager takes forever to load? Do you mean the image manager dialog as a whole, or just when trying to browse images etc? If you post bugs here: http://code.google.com/p/tinycimm/issues/ then it will make it easier for me to iron them out. Peace, Rich

My bad, probably overloaded connection that day, works fine now (Opera 9.27) Very neat! But there seems to be no support for nested folders, correct?

_Jameson_, you are correct, there is no support for nested folders, at this stage. I'm trying to keep it as lightweight as possible. Am desperately needing some help to release this project, anyone willing to help please PM me to join the project team. At this stage I need help sorting out the controller which is a mess and the reason why I won't release. My problem is I have no time to do this, so if anyone is willing to do this and of course get credit please PM me and I will send the files.

Please, could you at least share your custom TinyMCE setup with us? I really like the way tabs are organized. Of course one can find this information by plunging into their online documentation, but if it's already done, why invent the wheel? Thanks!

Hello, i'm back. It's been a while, but I bring good news. The TinyCIMM project lives! Thanks to Liam for contacting me and inspiring me to complete this project. It has been over a year since i first posted this thread, and I had completely pushed this project aside, but in the last couple of weeks I have been able to get it on track again! It's still early stages, I will post a full thread explaining everything once Liam and I are happy to release a major version, and it's very likely we will, so hang in there, not long now. Amazing timing syntax error. I started replacing Spaw with TinyMCE in PyroCMS last night and was wondering what to do about image/media manager. Hopefully this will be easy to integrate. Either way, good job! Update: Looking at the code it will be very easy to integrate. Will just make a tinycimm module and jobs done. |
