Ah, the template library. I'm not really sure why it's not in there, but it's probably because of the performance.

[quote author="ray73864" date="1244742729"]Installer works great now, although i would suggest that once the installer has finished its magic, either provide a link to the newly installed instance of pyrocms or have the installer auto-redirect the user there.

I also received this error on the front page after running the installer with the latest version (i doubt it is related to the installer though).

Code:
Welcome
A PHP Error was encountered

Severity: Notice

Message: Trying to get property of non-object

Filename: views/header.php

Line Number: 8
, you are logged in. Log out
Edit Profile | Settings

when i click on 'Log out' it attempts to take me to the following url:

http://localhostpyrocms/users/logout.html

and when i change the URL to:

http://localhost/pyrocms/index.php/users/logout.html

it attempts to take me to: http://www.localhostpyrocms.com/

it would seem that it is missing the / again from between 'localhost' and 'pyrocms' (are you to forgetting to update your local repos before committing new changes??)[/quote]

I took a quick look at the issue but I couldn't figure out why it would behave that way. Could you give me the following information :

* Apache version
* PHP version
* Operating system

The repo is up to date.

That's really weird, I tried PyroCMS on Wampserver earlier today and it was working fine. Do you have access to a computer using Windows XP or Vista? It could be an Windows 7 problem, however I highly doubt it.

I also recommend installing MySQL 5.0.51a, the default Wamp installation comes with a version mismatch (the MySQL client is newer than the server I believe, or the opposite).

Weird thing is that this only just started happening with the most recent commit that i grabbed, which would be the 2009-06-11 commit.

When i initially tried the 2009-06-10 commit, i didn't have any problems, but then, i was using an existing db i had, then i renamed that db to try the installer, when i tried the 2009-06-11 commit i had no db either so it was a clean slate.

The commit release before that worked fine though (2009-06-08), i think because that was the last one before the installer, so you had to do all the installation work manually.

I shall grab all the commit releases from 2009-06-09 and try each one with no existing db though to see what happens, it could be that the installer is messing something up

The installer shouldn't mess with the URL's as it doesn't even touches the config.php file, it only updates the database.php file. I'll have a look at those commits, perhaps I can see a difference that might cause the problem.

that issue seemed to go away on its own
