@hugle : the module isn't the problem. I can't even get the standard emailrecord module to use the template. This is my prob.. I want to create a module that dispalys to the user with the same theme anyother page does but I can't seem to get it working

I'll show you how it works approximately, and see how it goes. If you download the version from the trunk. It will have fancyupload module. If you want to see in in the front end. you can achieve this by this: you create, /themes/hand_made/views/articles/fancyupload.php, with content: Code: <div class="article"> Later you go to Settings > Theme find your file, and name it Fancy and choose a type Article for example and press SAVE. Then add a navigation famed fancy (so it be accessible via page.com/fancy), and an article in it (don't forget to put Online) and choose a view named Fancy (the one you choose in the Settings > Theme). Now navigate to the page.com/fancy and you should have the front end working! Good luck

i definately will share mods/widgets, is there a specific thread/wiki for ionize where we can share?

@Hugle.. forgive my ignorance here, but i have been playing around with the fancy upload mod and i can get a mod to run in a template but how do i load views. So say i have a module which loads a view with a date picker and then the user submits this to the controller which contacts an api with the dates then returns the data, how do i load that data into original view or a new view? cheers

@rossmurphy : We will create a mods share place and a forum in the next weeks. Stay tuned !

Hello, I started using your CMS for one projects and it looks really nice, however, there is a very big lack of documentation especially on templating the pages. I think you should give more attention for the documentation as it would increase users of your CMS. Secondly, is there going to be any support (or users) forum? I do have some questions and do not know where to ask them. Would be nice to have a forum or something similar.

From now on, a support forum is setup for all of you, see www.ionizecms.com |
