Run older scripts next to codeigniter

Hi there,

I have created www.cruisemurray.com.au with codeigniter. But now I would like to add the admin panel that we used in the old website. It's located in the /admin/ folder and does not use any part of the framework. It has its own connection to the database and that's it.

How can I use this script on the same server as the framework is on? I would like to access is via www.cruisemurray.com.au/admin

I havnt done anything like that before but if you put you old admin panel in public_html/admin folder and add admin exclusion in .htaccess it should work... I guess...
