Junior PHP dev looking for a project to get started with.

Hi,

I've got some experience with PHP/MySQL and been using CI for a while now. I've made some projects in the past months and I feel ready to expand my knowledge participating in any project with the hope to be a better dev and start learning new techniques from other people. I now have the time to help anyone that is starting any new project(s) as they seem fit.So please please PLEASE contact me if you're starting a project and you don't mind joining in. I admire your determination and humility ;-) In addition, you may want to specify either open-source or commercial project, that you want to work/join in it.

Hi,

When I started this thread I was only thinking open source but if you are about to develop a commercial one and you think I can some how fit on your team I would also like to join as my goal is to be a better developer.

Invent a project :-)

Once upon a time, I did see a website which was dedicated to Programmers/Designers looking for people to collaborate on projects - I can't for the life of me remember what it was.

If you have no luck, how about looking around for Github projects than you can Fork and modify/extend?

I could do that but IMO is better to be under the "wing" of a more experienced programmer and learn a thing or two from him.
