development vs production environment setting
#1

[eluser]bartgrrr[/eluser]
Hi,

My site works when I set the environment constant on 'development'. When I set it on 'production' I get a blank page (view HTML source gets an empty source file. The only difference between dev and prod is the database access BUT there's no database access on the first page?!?!

What can be causing this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Both environments use the same config file.

I suspect that your code is outputting an error somewhere. Have you checked the log? The only real difference between the two environments is the error reporting.

Also, if you have a subdirectory within your ./application/config directory where you keep config files for other environments, there could be an error in one of those files.
