Basically you need to re-create your database in the mamp mysql instance. Just do a db dump and then ingest. You will also have to change the settings in your db config to connect to mamp.

If doing it the native (Using Apple's PHP and Apache) does work, then I'd definitely prefer it that way. I'll post if it worked. |
