Auth library tutorial

Hey all,

A while back (when I just joined the forums) I ran into trouble with authorization. Lot's of people were very helpful back then and I promised to write a tutorial about it when I got the time for it.

Today I took the time for it and here it is!
Auth Library tutorial by Bramme

I'm still rereading parts and changing some things here and there, but if you see anything that seems wrong or if you find any spelling or grammar mistakes, please let me know!

Also, if you think I handled things completely wrong and I should use a different approach, I'd be most interested hearing about it.

This post is over 5 years old and was written for CodeIgniter 1.7, if I'm not mistaken. Whatever you might read there, is horribly outdated. And the site's been discontinued anyway.
