backend generator

hi,

i was wondering if there is some sort of easy way to generate an admin backend for a very basic content management site im putting together. I'm not using EE because it has too many features that i don't need.

I just need a password protected area with 3 pages(articles, awards, recipes) in the backend where i can add/edit/remove content from the database.

i heard symfony has a powerful tool that generates an admin backend and was wondering if CI has the same.

Yup code extinguisher is good. Search for it in the forums, there's already a RC 14.2 or something i think. The CodeEx site is sorta crappy and outdated. Well, it's crappy coz it's outdated. But the application is excellent. It's very easy to use and modify to fit your needs.

If you want something simpler with no coding needed, then use Cushy CMS
