Do you mean you want a recommendation for an auth library?
Though I haven't tried it, Redux Auth seems to be recommended by one of the developers behind CI itself.

I guess it depends on what you are trying to achieve

For me it was easier to build my own based on SimpleLogin.

Redux Auth was to complex for me

You can always try CL Auth. It is currently is development by me but it has a lot of common features that you would need from an auth system + its easy to use straight out of the box.
