GUI for MySQL?

I was wondering what people are using for MySQL GUIs. I've always used PHP MyAdmin but I am considering switching to something that isn't web based. I will be developing on a Mac starting next week and would like to have a comfortable development environment set up.

Any suggestions?

A quick google search gave me names of such programs, I am interested in some reviews and specific details about the programs you have used and what you like and dislike about them.

Well, I haven't experienced any mentionable issues with it. It just works for me.

I second CocoaMySql. To have the best of reviews, just download and try it.
You'll make your own opinion in less time than reading reviews and comments from other people...

Hi Fenix, I can suggest a couple of freeware versions of commercial products:

Toad is the standard (and the best) Oracle tool around, even though the commercial version has a lots of pro features, the freeware one worths a try

DBVisualizer as well is available in two versions, free and pro... the freeware one has the major limitation that doesn't execute batch script but, relying on JDBC connectivity, you can use one tool to connect to many types of databases as long as you have the JDBC drivers available:

The last one I suggest is SQuirreL SQL: is an open-source software also developed in Java, that has some plugins available developed by third party.

Thanks for the tips! Toadsoft looks promising. I hate to be "that guy" but I really would prefer a more attractive program than Squirrel SQL

I just ordered the Mac so next Wednesday I will try a few of these out. If it comes down to it, the company I work for will pay the $130 for Navicat for OS X.

Anybody else? Suggestions, comments, reviews?
