I'd also like to know. Apparently, there are libraries in existence which take care of it all for you. Trouble is, I can't seem to find any.
I was thinking of tracking it through the database, giving each user 250 rows to track the most recent posts they
have read. Any threads older than the date of the oldest read post, will display as being read automatically. It seems a bit too simple to me though. I think I might be missing something.
