Alert box or popup (set_flashdata)

I am working on change password functionality. And it is working properly but message is not displayed to user whether his password change or not.

You'll get better responses if you provide more information on your problem. How are you attempting to display this data to the user? Post the relevant code from your view/controller so we can see what you are trying to do.

If you want a JS modal dialog box to pop up and set some flash data, you could set the content of the box to use an iframe to a CI controller that sets it, or experiment with AJAX.
