sorry if i sounded brusque. i sometimes forget to use smileys to smooth over that harsh tinge :-) .
i think the code you put together is highly educational and would certainly provide benefits for the right application. i love the fact that you put together this custom controller and SQL code (with table creation scripts!) to help BlkAngel (and hopefully down the line it will karmically reflect well upon you). and like you said, it may be perfect for the installation. the risk is that the extra code and debugging will impinge on the goals of the project: to get it done.
