Getting error while trying to create ActiveRecord Library Separately from CodeIgniter

Hi guys,

I am facing a problem with Codeigniter 1.7.2 while i m trying to create ActiveRecord Library Separately from CodeIgniter.

While i have followed the same steps mentioned in the tutorial and i m getting the following error.

Fatal error: Call to a member function num_rows() on a non-object in /opt/lampp/htdocs/CII/test.php on line 8

I have attached my sample code for your review as well.

please help..... ASAP..

I'd suggest you'd have more luck if you aimed your question at [url="http://hasin.wordpress.com/contact-me/"]the person who thinks this is a good idea[/url].

Most people around here can help you with actual CodeIgniter problems, but are probably disinclined / inexperienced with regards to ways of not using CodeIgniter.
