Over the last few weeks I have been working on refactoring the authentication code I have used on previous projects into a standalone library that can be used in other projects. The result is ddauth. I added it to the wiki here: ddauth - Dragonfly Development Auth System.

The documentation is sparse at the moment, but there are a few simple examples that will hopefully get a ddauth newbie started.

I feel ddauth is a lightweight and flexible system that I think I would have found useful when I first started using CodeIgniter. I am hoping that others find it useful as well. Constructive feedback is welcome!
