setting up a version control to use the bitbucket code base of 2.0

I wanted to know the procedure to set up CI dev environment which leverages on the the CI 2.0 code base at bigbucket. So all the CI files should be synced with the 2.0 stream and my application files are
I am on a Mac with Eclipse PDT. I guess there is a way to do so using symlinks that point to the bitbucket. If someone has done it please point out the steps.
I guess it is going to be helpful to a lot of coders by saving time updating and incorporating latest changes.
