COMPER Template Parser 2 (NEW 2.5 Beta is out!)
#11

Perhaps you should add it in as a config option for other people?

$this->parser->set_path('skins');

Or something?

Maybe I'll add this one in next update. I believed, that MVC should work, but views should be replaced with templates, that's why I set location of templates to view folder.

Yeh I understand.

Thanks for the library - I hope I can use it as part of future projects Smile

Another little thing, when I try to set a "theme" now, I get this error:

COMPER Template Parser: File 'application/skins/default/tpl//default/views/layout/layout.tpl' not found!

'application/skins/default/' is correct, however, I need to remove the /tpl/ from the path - would this affect anything else?

No, you just have to rewrite line 86.

Ok cool - I don't like hacking the core of anything, so if I added functionality to this and posted it, would you use it or not?

Just some methods to change the default folders.

Sorry, but no I won't. I will make new config elements to rich this goals. So now I added tickets, and when more functionality will be needed or some bugs will apear I will solve this issue in next parser update.

Ok mate no problem - I have made a temporary fix myself at the moment.

When will you update it next? Smile

[eluser]Tominator[/eluser]
As I said, when more functionality will be needed or some bugs will appear.

I'm probably doing something stupid, but when I try and include a file in my template, it just appears on my parsed document as:

<-- INCLUDE header_section -->

I have a file in the same directory of the template called header_section.tpl

I'm sorry, there is a bug in docs. It's <!-- INCLUDE header_section --> (like HTML comment). Docs will be updated in minute Smile

Edit: Docs updated
