As a beginner with CI 2.1.0, am somewhat surprised and disappointed to have wasted several days looking for some good written tutorials to work with this framework. As others have pointed out, there are several code changes to be made, which I have tried after working with several of the "old" tutorials, to no avail. I have also tried some of the video tutorials for CI2 but found them difficult to watch due to the rapid scrolling and jumping around along with clunky narrations and missing tutorial files and databases. I realize that this an open source framework and it looks promising but perhaps only for experienced version 1 users.
Maybe I'll take a look again in a few months but for now, but for now I would recommend this only for experienced users.
