[Request URL] Controller is duplicated if append the forward slash to Request URL

Hi all,

I'm a newbie.

I'm following the instruction about "New section" at http://ellislab.com/codeigniter/user-gui...ction.html.

I finished the code for "New section" as described.

I go to the page that list all News like "http://localhost/codeigniter/index.php/news" , yes, with this page, all News and their links are displayed normally, I can see the action link of each News as "http://localhost/codeigniter/index.php/news/news/a".

but if I added a forward slash at the end of the request URL, sthing likes "http://localhost/codeigniter/index.php/news/". All News info displayed normal but URL of link action, for example, in this case, the link action would be "http://localhost/codeigniter/index.php/news/news/a".

"news" controller is duplicated.

and of course, when I click on that link, it displays "404 Page Not Found" message.

If it comes from my configuration, plz helping me to fix this, otherwise, this should be a bug rite ?
