migrating a project

My developer complete the project development
under window/xamp(apache/Mysql)using codeigniter & ajax
it was tested & running fine
Now
need to test it under production environment
Linux CENTOS / Mysql
it is not working .. file not found
the question is
what are the changes to be made on configuration files?

You probably need to alter the .htaccess. It has probably something to do with FastCGI and $config['uri_protocol']
