We created an online ordering service for restaurants using CI 1.7. To 'install' our service, restaurants simply add an iframe to their page where they want the online ordering to appear. The iframe simply hits our site and presents the menu, etc and allows the user to order. We use session a lot to allow the user to login, store their order, etc. The problem is one some browsers (currently safari on the ipad) the sessions don't seem to work.
Is it possible to use sessions within an iFrame? Should we change CI to store the session in the db?
