Java Applet and Session Hi-Jacking

I have an applet I have coded which, when launched by the user, fetches a webpage from my site. Doing so shuts down the users session and forces them to re-login. I have read a similar topic here: http://cakephp.1045679.n5.nabble.com/Cak...74669.html using CakePHP, and I am assuming that is what is going on here. I would like to disable this security feature if possible and if that is what it is, but after going through the code, I am not sure where it is happening. If anyone can point me in the right direction I am sure I can figure out a workaround. Thanks!

I think I found the code in Session.php, line 192. I am going to play around with that and see if that fixes it.
