Update On 28th May, 2013 Just an update on this project. I have made several updates/improvement on this application. Thanks. ************************ Hi All, I am working on a new web application project as my part time hobby. I have recently hosted it on aws with domain after finishing the core prototype. This is mainly a directory site for software developers, both for user profiles and jobs.its built on codeigniter. More specifically, built on codeigniterplus: http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/230970/ So, i will be very glad, if you could go through the site a little and give me some feedback on usability problem and errors. And as this site is for us, developers, I guess, I will make use of all of your valuable suggestions to make it lot more suitable in near future. Just to add, this is my hobby project, so the design/structure may not be professional :p , but I am intent to improve it based on your feedback as much possible, from developer perspective. Well, there are few features at this moment, which you can explore and judge from your side and prvode anything comes to your mind. Here are few short notes: Explore Jobs: Currently this site incorporates latest posted software jobs from leading outsourcing sites like freelancer.com, odesk.com and elance.com. You can explore the jobs and give your feedback how can the layout can be improved, if we can add any other site's jobs, how you will like it to see so that you can save time from explore those sites individually. User Registration/Login: You should be able to register and login properly. and change your current password as well. If it seems there is some security issues/usability here, you may report it. Create Profile/Resume: Currently, you should be able to start creating a complete profile as like CV/Resume with basic information, expertise, about/career objectives, portfolio, job experience, educations etc. You can fill them up and explore if there are any issues on these sections. If find, please report. Public Profile Page: I already feel that, the layout/design/structure may be improved a lot for the public profiles page, but very much confused how it will be good. After you completed the above steps, you should be able to see your public profiles and can judge how it can be improved and suggest accordingly. Search Users: Currently there is a small search engine at home page, where you should be able to search by city name, zipcode and a user's name. However, as there is not data that much, you will may like to test it after completing the registration/profile creation. If you think the search result shown in autocomplete can be improved in any way, please share your idea/suggestions. Where To Submit your feedback?
