Installing CI on OSX Mavericks

Hi,

Im completely new to Code Igniter, i've just started learning PHP and running on LocalHost without a framework. I've decided that I want to start to develop using CI, however im having difficulties installing CI.

I have MAMP configured, with PHP and MySQL working correctly. However, when i drop the CI source files into HTDOCS on the server, im unable to access the framework....... any ideas??

Im particularly having problems trying to find the location of config.php , which the guide im using said should be located here

system/application/config/config.php

however, this location does not exists in mavericks :-(

That file is part of CI, not Mavericks, so it's located in the system dir wherever you installed CI.
