Well, dang. I've emailed them to verify if it would violate their trademark since the actual product name is CodeIgniter, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do have issues with it. Their "derived phrases" requirement is pretty strict, though. That means we couldn't make a "Sparkly Unicorn" framework. Bummer.

They're not quite the same argument The main point being that it makes it a little nicer to type when you use it frequently. It's not a deal breaker either way but I can see it being a nice touch, since I do get slightly annoyed by having to type the extension every time.
you can use tab on the command line to autocomplete
