Database ERROR Today on Answering a Users Post

Hi James,

Strange, I was answering a users question on the forums this morning and got the ERROR below.

MyBB SQL Error

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.
SQL Error:2002 - Connection refusedQuery:[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server
Please contact the MyBB Group for technical support.

Not sure what happened got it when I clicked the Submit button.

Hmm - it looks like we have had two extreme usage spikes in the last 24 hours - I suspect too many connections as a result
It's a good thing the system recovers from those
